COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the divisional breakdowns for the fall sports of golf, tennis, soccer and volleyball.
There are two divisions in girls’ golf. Circleville and Teays Valley will compete in Division I. Division I golf ranges from Mason with 1,255 girls to the smallest being Circleville with 217. Teays Valley’s official enrollment for OHSAA purposes is 528. Logan Elm (195 girls), Amanda-Clearcreek (176) and Westfall (156) all will compete in Division II.
With three divisions for boys’ golf, only Teays Valley will be in Division I among area schools. Div. I ranges from Mason with 1,335 boys to Licking Valley with 263. TeaysValley has 518 boys. Circleville (263 boys), Logan Elm 235, Westfall 203 and Amanda-Clearcreek (191) all will be in Division II. Schools in Division II range from 262 boys down to 142.
In girls’ tennis, where there are only two divisions, Teays Valley will compete in Division I with Circleville and Logan Elm in Division II.
For volleyball there are seven divisions. Teays Valley will be competing in Division II for schools with enrollments between 576 and 402 girls. Circleville and Logan Elm will compete in Division IV for schools with enrollments between 254 and 188 girls. Amanda-Clearcreek and Westfall will be in Division V for enrollments between 183 and 132.
There are five divisions for boys’ and girls’ soccer.
Teays Valley will be in Division II for boys and girls. Circleville’s boys will be in Division III while the girls will compete in Division IV. Amanda-Clearcreek and Logan Elm will compete in Division IV for both genders. Westfall’s boys will be in Division IV while the girls will compete in Division V.
