Postseason schedule set in volleyball, boys and girls soccer

Schools around the state learned where their journey to the state championships begins when it comes to volley and soccer. Below are where our local teams were seeded and you can click on the district name to see full brackets.

Volleyball Postseason
Southeast District

Circleville has earned the top seed in the Division IV district tournament. The Tigers will open play Oct. 16 hosting the winner of No. 8 Jackson and No. 9 Fairfield Union. 

Logan Elm is the third seed and will host the winner between No. 7 Vinton County and No. 10 McClain on the 16th.

In Division V, Westfall is the 16th seed and heads to No. 9 South Point for a 7 p.m. start on Oct. 15. 

Central District

Teays Valley is the sixth seed in Division II. 

The Vikings will host No. 11 Mount Vernon in a district semifinal on Oct. 22. 

Amanda-Clearcreek is the 12th seed in Division V and will travel to No. 4 Utica on Oct. 14. 

Girls Soccer Postseason
Southeast District

Circleville picked up the 10th seed in Division IV and will head to No. 7 Logan Elm on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. with the winner taking on No. 2 Wheelersburg on Oct. 21. (Update – this game will start at 5 p.m.)

Westfall is the No. 6 seed in Division V which earns the Mustangs a home game against No. 11 Ripley at 6 p.m. on Oct. 13. 

Central District

In Division II, Teays Valley is fifth seed and will host No. 7 Watkins Memorial on Oct. 16 in a district semifinal. 

Amanda-Clearcreek is the sixth seed in Division IV. The Aces host No. 12 Heath on Oct. 14. 

Boys Soccer Postseason
Southeast District

Circleville earned the No. 7 seed for Division III and will host No. 10 Hillsboro at 6 p.m. Oct. 14. The winner heads to No. 2 Jackson on the 16th

Logan Elm picked up the No. 7 seed in Division IV and will host No. 10 McClain at 6 p.m. Oct. 16. The winner faces the winner of No. 2 Alexander versus No. 15 Wellston at 5 p.m. Oct. 22 at Jackson High School. 

Westfall is the No. 11 seed in Division IV and heads to No. 6 Ironton on the 16th for a 6 p.m. start. The winner advances to face the winner of No. 3 Unioto versus No. 14 New Lexington in the second game at Jacksons Oct. 22. 

Central District

Teays Valley grabbed the No. 11 seed in Division II and opens plays hosting No. 13 Licking Heights on Oct. 15.

In Division IV, Amanda-Clearcreek is the 6 seed and will host No. 10 Johnstown Northridge Oct. 18.
