Braves battle back to finish season with win at AC; Area teams face hardwood disappointments

AMANDA— Logan Elm outscored host Amanda-Clearcreek 39-18 in the second half to wrap up the regular season with a 54-47 win. 

The Aces (12-10, 5-7) held the Braves to five points in the second quarter to hold a 29-15 halftime edge. 

Logan Elm (11-11, 3-9) pulled to within five points (37-32) after the third quarter and had a 22-10 final period to get the win. 

Kiki Ingram hit three three-pointers and went 7-7 at the line in leading the Braves with 30 points. Kimmy Petty added 15 for the Braves. 

The Braves host Waverly in tournament action Wednesday night at 7 while the Aces will host the Pleasant/Worthington Christian winner on Feb. 14.
