COLUMBUS — An injury suffered at last week’s district tournament contributed to Westfall’s Savannah Holderby’s state tournament wrapping up Friday.
Holderby opened the girls state championships facing Abigale Torres-Miller (29-4) and lost by pin in the second round.
She forfeited her consolation match, bringing her season to an end with a 22-4 record.
The junior hurt her knee in the consolation semifinals last week and forfeited her finals match to place fourth in the district.
