Westfall sophomore Brendan Biegler has been named the player of the year in the Scioto Valley Conference in boys golf after posting a 35.57 stroke average per nine holes in league play in leading the Mustangs to a league championship.
Headed to the state championships next week, the Mustangs placed six golfers on the first team.
On the girls side, Zane Trace sophomore Rosella Lattavo averaged 37.86 strokes per nine holes in earning player of the year honors in leading her Pioneers to a league title and a berth in next week’s state championships.
Michelle Pickett and Lillian Cooper made First Team All-SVC for Westfall.
