In the 30th minute, the Bulldogs finally found the back of the net on a corner kick to the back post. They would score again just three minutes later to double their lead. Despite the setback, the Vikings would respond as senior Jozie Hammond scored from a free kick with just :10 seconds remaining in the half.
TV would start the second half where it left off as its attacking play continued to pick up. Midway through the half Aimee Watson’s header was saved off the line and minutes later another shot deflected off the crossbar. Bloom-Carroll would score in the 66th minute after a defensive breakdown and rebound after the initial save was finished to make it 3-1.
