The Logan Elm volleyball team earned its biggest win of the season on Thursday with a 25-22, 25-23, 15-25, 24-26 and 15-10 Mid-State League Buckeye Division decision over visiting Liberty Union (15-6, 10-4).
Arowynn Savage put away 14 kills and also had three aces,; Annie Karshner had 10 kills and 28 digs, three aces; Aubrie Kimbrough contributed seven kills; Carly King had five kills; Kaiya Elsea served three aces and led the defense with 29 digs; Carlee Reed distributed 18 assists and scooped up 15 digs; and Alex Heeter dished out 17 assists and also had 20 digs.
The Braves (7-14, 4-9) travel to Waverly on Wednesday for their tournament opener.

Circleville wrapped up the MSL-Buckeye slate on Thursday with a 25-14, 25-15 and 25-10 win over host Amanda-Clearcreek.
Kenzie McConnell contributed 13 kills, three solo blocks and 13 digs; Morgan Blakeman served six aces and also had seven kills and 11 digs; Jayla Parsons dished out 15 assists and had three kills; Zoey Ferguson had three kills; Cara Cooper paced the defense with 24 digs and also had three kills and Gabby McConnell turned in three kills and nine assists.
The Tigers (19-2, 13-1) host River Valley on Wednesday for their tournament opener.

Westfall secured a solo second-place finish in the Scioto Valley Conference on Thursday with a 25-22, 18-25, 25-12 and 28-26 win over host Zane Trace.
Kristin Phillips put away 18 kills, had six blocks (three solos) and 11 digs; Marissa Mullins had 19 kills and 18 digs; Claire Latham dished out 43 assists and also had 12 digs and four blocks (two solos); Hailey Young turned in 10 kills and eight digs; Gabby Patete had five kills and four digs; Ashley Hegarty also accounted for five digs; Grace Wolfe scooped up nine digs; Lauren Daniels had six and Kayla Fleischmann added five.
The Mustangs (13-3, 10-2) travel to Liberty Union on Saturday for a non-conference tilt.
