Mustangs extend supremacy atop SVC

The dynasty continues.
Westfall claimed five weight classes on Saturday as it retained the Scioto Valley Conference championship for a sixth consecutive season.
The Mustangs topped the seven-school field at Unioto with 208 points, followed by Zane Trace (191) and the host Shermans (90).
Westfall’s Josey Kelly pinned Zane Trace’s Daniel Barnhart in 46 seconds to claim the 195-pound conference title and Trey Keeton also prevailed by pin in 1:32 against Southeastern’s Gabriel Davis at 182. Wyatt Cooper outscored Zane Trace’s Keith Russell 16-11 to prevail at 170, Bryce Wickline recorded a pin at 152 against Zane Trace’s Brayden Harris in 2:25 and Christian Furniss won by 4-3 tiebreaker against Adena’s Alex Riddle at 113.
Anthony Hoty (106) and Thomas Martin (160) both finished second.
