The Westfall boys cross country team turned in a solid fourth place finish on Saturday in the Erin L. Nance Invitational hosted by London High School at the city’s country club.
The field included eight Division I schools, headlined by Olentangy topping the 11-school race with 25 points, followed by Northmont (69), Hilliard Darby (81) and the Mustangs (90).
Top runners for the Mustangs included Henry Barnes (10th, 17:54.40); Trent Gardner (16th, 18:14.10); Brody Clark (18th, 18:18.80); Josh Trapp (20th, 18:27.20) and Mason Barnes (26th, 18:39.20).

Amanda-Clearcreek finished 11th with 332.
Running for the Aces were Cole Reynolds (57th, 20:20.40); Travis Spence (58th, 20:28.20); Peyton Hill (71st, 23:55.30); Coleman Kochenderfer (74th, 26:13.80) and Henry Poor (75th, 32:59.20).
Westfall finished sixth in the girls race with 137.
Northmont topped the eight-school field with 31 points, followed by the Columbus School for Girls (70) and Hilliard Darby (96).
Top runners for the Mustangs included Caitlyn Shipley (fifth, 20:41.90); Anay Sierra (13th, 21:38.50); Gabby Henry (41st, 24:01.80); Makalie Crabtree (49th, 25:04.40) and Natalie Yates (55th, 25:42.10).
Amanda-Clearcreek didn’t have enough runners to qualify for a team score. Participating in the race for the Aces were Olivia Nixon (42nd, 24:03.80); Autumn Parry (52nd, 25:25.40); Audrey Myers (60th, 27:15.00) and Addy Pugh (61st, 27:16.60).
Tigers race at Pick North
Circleville sophomore Maddux Bigam earned a silver finish on Saturday for a second consecutive weekend, this time at the Pickerington North Invitational.
Bigam finished second out of 194 runners with a time of 19:26.5. She ran an average mile of 6:15.1.

Athens freshman Sophia Szolosi won the race in 18:38.5. Fairfield Union junior Anna Conrad followed Bigam by taking third in 19:28.0.
The Tigers didn’t have enough runners to qualify for a team score. Also running for the Tigers were Meg Warner (85th, 23:30.0) and Ava Justice (88th, 23:40.2).
Jonathan Alder topped the 20-school field in the Divisions II and II race with a team score of 97, followed by Fairfield Union (103) and Williamstown (113).
The Circleville boys finished 20th in the Divisions II and III race with a team score of 545.
Fairfield Union topped the 22-school field with 59, followed by Williamstown (96) and Liberty Union (128).
Top runners for the Tigers included Sterlin Mullins (66th, 18:28.8); Zach Buitendorp (138th, 20:18.3); Preston Hulse (140th, 20:24.8); Brandon Patrick (153rd, 20:50.8) and Chip Stanley (197th, 22:38.6).
Vikings run at Berlin
The Teays Valley girls finished 13th on Saturday with a team score of 368 at the Olentangy Berlin Bear Den Dash.
Dublin Jerome topped the 17-school field with 46 points, followed by Olentangy Liberty (76) and Marysville (93).
Top runners for the Vikings included Evie Layton (58th, 20:53.5); Lindsey Triplett (61st, 20:56.4); Kate Charter (86th, 21:37.3); Jenna Lathem (98th, 21:58.5) and Katy Zang (115th, 22:48.2).
The Vikings finished 20th in the boys race with a team tally of 583.
Dublin Coffman topped the 21-school field with 94 points, followed by Toledo St. Francis (123) and Olentangy Orange (134).
Leading runners for the Vikings included Jerry O’Dell (92nd, 17:07.8); Thomas McPeek (121st, 17:29.5); Rueger Shrewsberry (124th, 17:31.2); Connor Dean (148th, 17:54.1) and Conner Davis (177th, 18:51.6).
