Logan Elm picks up wins over Athens, Westfall

Logan Elm’s wrestlers came out on top over both Athens and Westfall in a tri-match hosted by the Braves. 

The Braves won nine of 14 weight classes in both matches as LE topped Westfall 46-34 and beat Athens 41-30. 

Logan Elm had eight wrestlers grab a pair of wins Wednesday — Ayden Hudson (106 pounds), Hunter Huhn (113), Blaine Holzschuh (120), Gavin Hoover (126), Nehemiah Hess (132), Wesley Entler (150), Austin Cordle (165) and Bryce Perkins (190).

Westfall started the night defeating Athens 47-23. 

The Mustangs had four wrestlers pick up a pair of wins — Wayne Kitchen (138 pounds), Bryce Wickline (175), John Siders (215) and Hunter Probasco (285).

Westfall heads to Amanda-Clearcreek Saturday for the Jeff Arndt Invitational Saturday while the Braves have the weekend off before heading to AC for a dual Wednesday.
