Westfall scored 14 straight runs on Wednesday to seize control of a Scioto Valley Conference game and rout host Piketon 14-4 in five innings.
Trailing 2-0 after an inning of play, the Mustangs seized the lead for good with a four-run second.
Seth Gifford lined a double to left to open the inning, advanced to third one out later on a single to left by Noah Stonerock and scored when Trent Walters lined a single to center.
After a ground out that advanced the runners, Bryce Wickline lined a two-run double to left that put the Mustangs ahead 3-2.
Wickline eventually scored on a passed ball for the final run of the inning.
Westfall blew the game open with a 10-run third that was highlighted by a three-run homer over the left field fence from Bryant Coker, a pair of RBI doubles from Stonerock and a two-run double off the bat of Jaden Towler.
Walters was a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored, Stonerock went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored and Gifford was 2-for-4 and scored twice to pace the Mustangs.
Brenden Tuttle pitched a complete game, allowing three hits, four runs (one earned), walked three, hit two and struck out seven to record the win for the Mustangs (6-1, 3-1), who continue conference play on Friday at Southeastern.
