Three county athletes qualify for state

Three Pickaway County athletes qualified for the Division II state track and field meet on Thursday during regional competition held at Southeastern High School outside of Chillicothe. Logan Elm junior Annie Karshner tossed the shot put 35-07 feet on her third of six attempts to place fourth and grab the final qualifying spot to Pickerington North (home of this year’s divisional state meet). Karshner’s toss bested her district effort by five inches.
