LOGAN — Lancaster’s boys repeated as OCC Buckeye track and field champions while Pickerington Central stopped Lancaster’s girls from repeating by half of a point.
The Gales had 150.5 points with Canal Winchester second scoring 137.5 on the boys side while Central had 150.5 to Lancaster’s 150 for the girls. Host Logan was third in both meets.
Teays Valley’s girls were half a point behind Logan to place fourth while the Vikings’ boys placed eighth.
The TV girls claimed two titles – both coming in the running events.
In the 3,200-meter relay the foursome of Reese Galinger, Addison Keplar, Grace Thanasack and Khloe Maxwell were first in 9:54.35 while Lancaster was second in 9:58.94.
In the 300-meter hurdles, Raelynn McGrath was the league champion with a time of 46.31 seconds. Pickerington Central’s Caley Grant was second in 47.10.
