LANCASTER — Saturday’s Ohio Capital Conference Track and Field Championships saw host Lancaster lay claim to both trophies.
Lancaster’s girls had 191 points while Pickerington Central was second with 135. Teays Valley was fourth with 83.
In the boys’ meet, Lancaster had 146.5 points with Pickerington Central second with 127. Teays Valley was eighth with 23.5.
Teays Valley’s girls came home with three individual champions.
Senior Brooklyn Herbert won the high jump by clearing 5’ 2”. Lancaster’s Addison Westbrooks was second at 5’ 0”.
TV junior Abby Henderson won the 400 meters in 1:00.89 with Lancaster’s Jacilynn Sark coming in second in 1:01.12.
Reese Galinger won the 800 meters for the Vikings. The sophomore ran the two laps in 2:19.23 with Lancaster’s Harper Allen second in 2:19.54.
