Teays Valley moved up a spot on Monday in the final Division I state poll of the season by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The Vikings (24-4) check in ranked ninth this week and were one of four Central District schools ranked in the division, joining Watkins Memorial (second), Gahanna (seventh) and Lancaster (eighth).

Teays Valley hosts Olentangy Berlin (17-9) later today in a district semifinal.
The Southeast District finished the poll season with two top-ranked teams in Athens (Division II) and Wheelersburg (Division III).
Logan Elm (14-9) travels to Ohio University later today to face the Athens Bulldogs (23-1) in a district semifinal, followed by Circleville (20-6) taking on Sheridan (19-7).
Amanda-Clearcreek (10-11) also returns to the diamond this evening in Johnstown (22-2), which was ranked 10th in Division III, while Westfall (15-10) is slated to take on ninth-ranked Portsmouth West (23-3) on Tuesday at Unioto.
