The Circleville girls track and field team finished as a district runner-up on Saturday during a Division II Southeast District meet held on the campus of Washington Court House High School.
McClain topped the 16-school field with 115 points, followed by Circleville (109.5) and Unioto (79).
Faith Yancey won district championships in the 100 in 12.60 and the 200 in 26.12.

Sydney Lattimer earned silver in the long jump at 15-06.50 feet, was third in the 300 hurdles in 50.88 and took fourth in the 100 in 13.28
Maddux Bigam finished as a district runner-up in the 1600 in 5:19.35 and also earned silver in the 3200 in 12:14.55. Unioto freshman Cameron Walker set a new district record in the 1600 in 5:13.67.

Cora Wilson was fourth in the 100 hurdles in 17.73 and Bella Morningstar was fourth in the 400 in 1:05.33.
Ella Patrick nabbed the final regional qualifying spot in the 800 by finishing fourth in 2:26.38.
The 400-relay team of Lattimer, Isabelle Perini, Payton Ford and Yancey earned silver in 52.77 and the 1600-relay squad of Yancey, Patrick, Morningstar and Bigam also finished as a district runner-up in 4:18.39.
Logan Elm finished sixth with 47 points.
Tayla Tootle won a district championship in the pole vault at 10-feet.

Vera Henderly finished third in the 3200 in 12:18.12 and was fourth in the 1600 in 5:31.28.
Maggie Wilson took fourth in the discus with a heave of 98-01 feet.
Westfall was 10th with 20 points.
Caitlyn Shipley finished as a district runner-up in the 800 in 2:25.40 and earned bronze in the 1600 in 5:19.35.
Zane Trace and Minford tied for a district championship in the 15-school boys field with 80 points apiece. Washington Court House followed in third with 78.
Logan Elm led Pickaway County schools in the district championships by finishing eighth with 45 points.
Nate Edge won the 110 hurdles in 15.46 and also claimed a district championship in the high jump at 5-10 feet.

Drew Tomlinson placed third in the 300 hurdles in 41.77.
Circleville followed in ninth with 33 points.
The 800-relay team of Omari Graham, Joe Streitenberger, Jacob Walker and Daniel Cutliff took home a bronze finish of 1:34.20 and the 400-relay squad of Graham, Streitenberger, Jake Yancey and Cutliff also finished third in 44.92.
Westfall was 10th with 28 points.
Josh Trapp won a district championship in the 800 in 2:00.13.
Qualifying athletes from Circleville, Logan Elm and Westfall travel to Muskingum University on Thursday for the first day of regional competition.

Amanda-Clearcreek’s Kaylie Wilson advanced to a regional meet by finishing third with a heave of 113-04 feet in the discus on Saturday during a Division II Central District meet at Westerville South.

Teays Valley finished one spot short of advancing a trio of athletes in the postseason during competition at a Division I Central District meet held at Hilliard Darby.
Lauren Sharrock was fifth in the long jump at 16-04.75 feet, Sophia Seymour took fifth in the discus at 114-04 feet and Tristian Graham also finished fifth in the discus on the boys side with a heave of 134-01 feet.
