Season outlook: Logan Elm has graduated 17 players over the past two seasons, which has opened up considerable playing time for younger players on the roster.
“We had a challenging season last year, but we were extremely competitive in all but two matches,” coach Aaron Elswick said. “There were some valuable lessons learned in what it takes to be a varsity level player and those experiences should show themselves this season!
“We are still a young team but have a good mix of experience in the roster. The challenge will be for some of the now upperclassman to step up and fill the roles of the guys they have seen lead before them.”
Elswick also highlighted the benefits the Braves are starting to receive from their junior high program with a trio of freshmen — Drew Stant, Grey Braun and Mark Wilson — joining the high school team.
“They have definitely done their part to bring not only youth but skill to the team,” Elswick said.
Coming to Circleville this September!
