Key losses: Morgan Keel (first-team all-league setter)
Coach’s comments: Our players are much stronger this season because we have been working in the weight room with our strength and conditioning coach, Josh McDanel, since early spring. These girls are coachable, committed and have a passion for the game. We have been focused on building a positive culture that will carry into our season.
I believe that we have aggressive players who want to compete and win, and they definitely want to improve upon their record from last year. We are going to continue to work to build our team chemistry, communication, and volleyball IQ. I want to see us be more consistent in our play and for the girls to be able to bounce back after a mistake and be ready for the next ball. This team has a great deal of talent and potential, and I am excited to see what we can do together this season.
