WILLIAMSPORT — Logan Elm nipped Bloom-Carroll at the first Mid-State League golf matchup of the season.
The Braves posted a team 336 with the Bulldogs coming in with a 337. Circleville was fourth with a team 359 and Amanda-Clearcreek posted a 375 for fifth.
Bloom-Carroll’s Carter Price was the match medalist with an 18-hole score of 74.
Grant Cline led LE with a 77 at Crown Hill Wednesday. Graham Williams and Cole Smith each posted an 86 with Parker Caldwell rounding out the scoring with a 87. Lancae Thomas had a 110 for the Braves and Mason Genry shot a 112.
Reid Seimetz led Circleville with an 80 while Brady Reuter shot 86, Harrison Bond shot 96 and Ashton Groff shot 97 to complete the scoring. Liam McConnell had a round of 100 and Maxton McKeivier shot 101.
AC was led by Caiden Riddle with an 85, Ashden Vanscoy shot 90, AJ Moyer 91 and Breece Stone rounded out the scoring with a 109. Lucas Foster posted a 118 for the Aces.
The second MSL golf event will take place August 17 at Turnberry Golf Club.
