PORTSMOUTH — Twenty-three teams converged on the Portsmouth Elks Country Club for the Portsmouth 4-man Invitational Thursday.
Ironton came out on top shooting a 316 to best North Adams (329) by 13 strokes.
Teays Valley was fifth with a 338, Circleville took sixth with a 339 and Logan Elm was 13th with a score of 359.
Three players shot 74 with Waverly’s Caden Corkerton taking medalist honors after besting Ironton’s Hunter Freeman and Cole Grove’s Joel Beals in a playoff.
Teays Valley was led by Caden Sherman with an 81, Branson Crabtree shot 83, Noah Hilgenberg shot 86 and Carter Hutchinson shot 88.
Reid Seimetz led Circleville with an 80 and Brady Ruter shot an 81. Liam McConnell and Max McKeivier each shot 89.
Grant Cline led Logan Elm with an 83, Graham Williams had a round of 87, Parker Caldwell shot a 94 and Cole Smith 95.
