PIKETON — Westfall maintained its lead in the early going of the SVC golf season.
The Mustangs posted a team score of 170 with Piketon in second with a 173 and Unioto was third with a 176.

Unioto’s Keegan Snyder was the match medalist with a 37 while Westfall’s Brendan Biegler and Piketon’s Hunter Skaggs each had a 38 playing the front nine at Big Beaver Creek Golf Club.

The Mustangs’ Colton Brungarth had a round of 42 while Dalton Bush and Isaac Stevens had a 45 to complete the scoring.
Ian Camden posted a 48 and Jacob Hicks had a 53.

Girls’ Golf – OCC #2
CIRCLEVILLE — Teays Valley’s girls finished second in the second Ohio Capital Conference Buckeye Division tournament.
Canal Winchester won the 18-hole tournament at Pickaway Golf Course by posting a 344 with the Vikings posting a 370. Lancaster was third with a 423.
CW’s Ana MacHamer was the medalist with a 76.
TV was led by Brooklyn Lowry with a 90. Adison Abele posted a 92, Taylor Strawser had a 93 and Makinna Pinion had a 95 to complete the Vikings’ scoring. Sophia Combs had a 128.
Team scores: Canal Winchester 344; Teays Valley 370; Lancaster 423; Pickerington Central 427: Logan 445.
Boys Golf – OCC Shootout
ZANESVILLE — Teays Valley finished 14th at the 18-team OCC Shootout held at Eaglesticks Golf Club Wednesday.
New Albany was the winner with a team 287 and Dublin Jerome was second with 290.
Gahanna-Lincoln’s Trent Hughes was match medalist with a round of 67 on the par-70 course.
Noah Hilgenberg led TV with an 82 while Vance Hanger had an 83, Caden Sherman an 86 and Carter Hutchison completed scoring with an 88. Branson Crabtree had a 92.
Pioneers top Tigers, Falcons at Pickaway
CIRCLEVILLE — Zane Trace came out on top of a tri-match at Pickaway Golf Course Wednesday night.
The Pionners had a team 198 with host Circleville posting a 208 and Fairfield Union posted a 210.
ZT’s Rosella Lattavo was medalist with a 33.
Circleville was led by Isabelle Perini with a 39. Lis Sharp had a 53 and Maddux Bigam and Aleigh Michael each had a 59. Allie Mullins shot a 57 and Leah Thatcher had a 60.
Boys’ golf – Circleville wins trio-match
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville’s boys were 16 shots better than Miami Trace and 24 better than Washington Court House to win a tri-match Wednesday at Pickaway Golf Course.
The Tigers had a team 168 with MT posting a 184 and WCH a 192.
Circleville’s Reid Seimetz was match medalist with a 37.
Liam McConnell posted a 39 and Brady Reuter and Caz Coyan completed the scoring with rounds of 46.
Maxton McKeivier had a49 and Jaxon Hughey had a 54.
