The Circleville volleyball team opened up its Mid-State League Buckeye Division slate on Tuesday with a 25-12, 25-8 and 25-16 win over host Hamilton Township.
The Tigers were especially sharp in the second set, converting on eight kill opportunities with no errors, and also finished the match with 12 aces.
Kenzie McConnell put away 14 kills and also posted three solo blocks and six digs; Morgan Blakeman contributed seven kills and six aces; Jayla Parsons dished out 17 assists to go with three kills and 11 digs; Cara Cooper served five aces and also had 11 digs and Gabby McConnell chipped in five digs.
The Tigers (4-0, 1-0) continue league play on Thursday when they host Fairfield Union.

Teays Valley finished an MSL-Buckeye match strong on Tuesday in a 25-20, 21-25, 25-16 and 25-19 win over visiting Logan Elm.
Arowynn Savage contributed nine kills for the Braves; Maraya Neff had seven kills; Annie Karshner tallied five kills and 18 digs; Alex Heeter distributed 16 assists and also had nine digs; Carlee Reed chipped in seven assists and 10 digs and Kaiya Elsea paced the defense with 23 digs.
Teays Valley (1-2, 1-1) continues league play on Thursday at Liberty Union, while Logan Elm (1-4, 0-1) is off until Tuesday when it travels to Hamilton Township.

Westfall turned it up after a close opening set on Tuesday to claim a 27-25, 25-16 and 25-15 Scioto Valley Conference win over host Southeastern.
Marissa Mullins put away 18 kills and also had 15 digs and three solo blocks; Kristin Phillips accounted for 16 kills and three solo blocks; Claire Lathem dished out 30 assists and also had eight digs; Hailey Young contributed five kills; Ashley Hegarty had four kills and Lauren Daniels chipped in eight digs.
The Mustangs (2-1, 1-0) continue conference play on Thursday at Paint Valley.
