The Logan Elm boys soccer team seized the lead for good with just 98 seconds remaining in a Mid-State League Buckeye Division match on Wednesday in a 2-1 win over host Hamilton Township.
Jude Braun and Cole Conaway scored the pair of goals for the Braves, and Landon Long chipped in an assist.
Hamilton Township tied the match with eight minutes left on a goal by Elijah Taylor.
Braden Sabine had a strong night in the net for the Braves, recording 15 saves.
Logan Elm (5-4, 1-2) hosts Miami Trae on Saturday morning for a non-league tilt.

Dallas Moore scored a pair of goals for host Teays Valley on Wednesday in a 4-0 MSL-Buckeye win over Circleville.
Landon Garrett-Kelley and Elijah Suhayda scored the other two goals. Reese Sauerbrun turned in a clean sheet that included four saves for the Vikings, who travel to Lancaster on Saturday for a non-league encounter.

The Vikings hit the road on Wednesday for a midweek MSL-Buckeye encounter against Amanda-Clearcreek.
Both teams battled throughout the first half of a pretty even match as both sides created a handful of chances on goal leaving is scoreless at the half.
Ten minutes into the second half, Emilee Stats took an errant pass and slipped her shot in the goal to give the Aces a 1-0 lead. Midway through the half, Stats struck again as she took a loose ball and dribbled through the Vikings’ defense to double the lead.
Audrey Meyer later pounced on a poor pass in front of goal in the final minutes and chipped her effort in the goal to make the final 3-0.
The Vikings travel to Logan Elm on Saturday for a matinee league match. The Aces also return to the pitch on Saturday for a league match at Liberty Union.

Circleville and visiting Logan Elm battled to a 2-2 MSL-Buckeye deadlock on Wednesday.
Nilyn Cockerham and Faith Yancey each scored for the Tigers, with Makayla Coyan chipping in an assist.
The Braves rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit to notch the tie, with Sophia Stonerock and Riley Schultz each scoring.
Abby Dengler made a pair of saves for the Tigers, and Liv Adams also turned in a nice effort for the Braves.
Both teams continue league play on Saturday, as the Tigers travel to Hamilton Township and the Braves host Teays Valley.
