Teays Valley won four duals on Saturday and finished third at the Marysville Duals.
The Vikings posted wins of 47-24 over Delaware, 43-42 against Watkins Memorial and 44-36 over Delta. After falling 51-30 to Springboro, the Vikings rebounded to defeat the host Monarchs 40-33 to finish third in a tough field.
Braxton Sheets (126), Camden McDanel (190) and Joey Thurston (285) all posted perfect ledgers of 5-0, while Gunner Havens (113) and Aiden Kennedy (157) both went 4-1.
The Vikings will send a trio of grapplers to the prestigious Walsh Jesuit Ironman tournament next weekend.
Braves finish 11th
Logan Elm opened the season taking 11th on Saturday at the Cambridge Invitational with 96.5 points.
Indian Valley topped the 16-school invitational with 210.5 points, followed by Minerva (199.5) and Beaver Locak (199).
Hunter Schoenborn (150) finished second, Dawsen Hudson (106), Gavin Hoover (132) both took third and Bradyn Allen (157) was fourth for the Braves.
