Logan Elm jumped out to a 2-0 lead but was unable to sustain its momentum on Monday in an 8-2 Mid-State League Buckeye Division loss to host Hamilton Township.
Kyle Rine led off the game with a walk and advanced to third on an errant throw on an infield single off the bat of Mason Gentry. Seimer then lined a two-run single to right.
Hamilton Township scored four runs in its half of the first and went on to score once in the third and three more times in the sixth.
Gentry had two hits to lead the Braves (1-5, 0-2), who travel to Washington Court House on Tuesday for a non-league game.

Circleville 3
Fairfield Union scored seven consecutive runs to take control of an MSL-Buckeye contest on Monday and defeat host Circleville 9-3.
Circleville scored twice in the first to take a brief 2-1 lead.
Scott Moats led off the home half of the frame with a single to left and stole second. After Austin Gray was hit by a pitch with two outs, Logan Smith tripled to center to drive in both runners.
The Falcons tied the game in the second, took a 5-2 lead in the third and expanded their advantage to 8-2 in the fourth.
Moats had three hits and Matt Bradley added a triple for the Tigers (2-3, 0-1), who continue league play on Wednesday when they travel to Logan Elm.
