Logan Elm continued its steady play on the courts by sweeping visiting Logan 5-0 on Wednesday in a non-league match.
Owen Braun claimed a 7-6 and 6-0 win at first singles over Owen Gadrim, Logan Elm’s Jude Schaal blanked Dominic Baxley 6-0 and 6-0 at second singles and LE teammate Sam Braun prevailed 6-0 and 6-1 at third singles against Zach Aldridge.
The LE first doubles team of Maddox Arledge and Mason Wolfe shutout Xavier Lawson and Logan Keck 6-0 and 6-0. The LE second doubles team of Will Higginbotham and Scotty Gaskin recorded a 6-4 and 6-3 win over Isabel Nutter and Tommy Baron.
Logan Elm (6-1) resumes Mid-State League Buckeye Division play when it hosts league-leading Teays Valley.
