Logan Elm won its seventh consecutive match on Saturday with a 5-0 non-league sweep over host Portsmouth.
Owen Braun defeated Portsmouth’s Brad Liddle 6-4 and 6-3 at first singles, Logan Elm’s Jude Schaal Bounced back from a second set setback to outlast Omar Barrera 6-1, 5-7 and 10-8 in second singles and LE teammate Maggie Wilson blanked Jesua Beltran 6-0 and 6-0 in third singles.
The LE first doubles team of Maddox Arledge and Mason Wolfe shutout Piper Cunningham and Saul Monrraga 6-0 and 6-0. The LE second doubles squad of Will Higginbotham and Scotty Gaskin blanked Alex Howard and Brody Connley 6-0 and 6-0.
Logan Elm (7-1) resumes Mid-State League Buckeye Division play on Tuesday at Fisher Catholic.
