Logan Elm swept all courts on Thursday in a 5-0 Mid-State League Buckeye Division win over visiting Fisher Catholic.
Jude Schaal won on straight sets of 6-1 and 6-1 at first singles over Fisher Catholic’s Reece Hagy, Logan Elm’s Maggie Wilson blanked Elsa Revada 6-0 and 6-0 at second singles and LE teammate Scotty Gaskin outlasted Nathaniel Reiling 6-4, 4-6 and 10-6.
“Jude and Maggie led the way tonight at singles,” Logan Elm coach Tony Clouse said. “I was happy with their play and how both of them imposed their will to stay in control of their matches.”
The LE first doubles team of Owen Braun and Maddox Arledge bounced back from a second set loss to defeat Elliot Boley and Sophie Shaw 6-4, 2-6 and 6-4. The LE second doubles team of Mason Wolfe and Will Higginbotham dispatched Jake Krooner and Annie McGill 6-3 and 6-2.
