Westfall junior Paige Weiss was recently named Southern Ohio Junior PGA (SOPGA) Player of the Year for girls ages 16-19.
During 13 events she participated in this year, Weiss finished inside the top-3 an incredible 11 times and claimed five wins. She also tied for the lowest round of the season with a four-under-par 68 at the Johnstown Jr. Open.
Weiss is slated to be one of eight golfers who will represent the southern Ohio section at the Westfield Country Club in Westfield Center on October 28 and 29 to go head-to-head against the best juniors from the Northern Ohio Junior PGA in a Ryder Cup style event.
