Philo on top at Circleville’s Clay Davis Memorial
CIRCLEVILLE — Philo took the top spot at the Clay Davis Memorial Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
The Electrics compiled 209 team points while Watkins Memorial was second with 183.5, Chillicothe was third with 132 and host Circleville was fourth with 126 points.
Aiden Blue won the title at 215 pounds in leading Circleville. Blue won all four of his matches by pin.
Jon Mills was second at 138 pounds. He won his opening matches with a technical fall and a pin. Mills took second losing a 12-11 decision to Huntington’s Gordon Cyrus in the finals.

Logan Elm 67, Amanda-Clearcreek 48
CIRCLEVILLE — Logan Elm took control early on the way to a 67-48 win over visiting Amanda-Clearcreek Saturday afternoon.
The Braves scored 14 points in the last three minutes of the first quarter to take a 19-7 lead and they had a 33-15 lead at halftime.
Ne’Miah Waugh led all scorers with 19 points for the Braves – 14 in the first half – Lucas Bialy had 11, Tyler Speas 10 and Brady Neff added eight.
Nick Holand led AC with 14, Hayden Dunn had 11 and Colton Westhoven had 10.
The Braves (5-12, 3-7) host Bloom-Carroll Tuesday while the Aces (3-16, 1-9) host Liberty Union that night.
